EXPLORE THE AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCE! A Step-by-Step Manual.

Welcome to the world of Augmented Reality Art! The Kyck app allows you to immerse yourself in a captivating AR experience. Follow this simple guide to explore the AR artwork:

  • The AR experience is available in the three cities below. Click on the link of your city to be directed to the Kyck app's download page.

  • Download and install the Kyck app on your mobile phone or tablet. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

Step 2: Open the App

  • Open the app and select 'Continue without login'. You don't have to make an account.

  • Agree to allow Kyck to access photos, videos, and location, if asked.

  • Ready! The app is installed. Close the app.

Step 3: Go to the location of the artwork

Locations:
The Netherlands: Vrijthof, Maastricht
Georgia: Rike Park, in front of the Rike concert hall, near the statue of Ronald Reagan, Tbilisi. It's in the area of the Bridge of Peace.
Kosovo: Skanderbeg Square. Pristina.

Step 4: Find the Artwork

Have you arrived? Now click the link of your city (above) a second time. Agree the app to access photos, videos, and location, if asked. Scroll down to find the integrated (Google) Maps feature in the Kyck app. The AR artwork is pinpointed on the map. Walk in the direction of the artwork to begin your immersive experience.

Step 5: Experience Now

As you get closer to the artwork's location, a button will appear on your Kyck app with the words 'Experience Now.' This indicates that you are within 200 meters distance of the AR artwork. You will now have immediate access to the artwork!

Step 6: Enjoy the Artwork!

To start the AR art experience, simply click the 'Experience Now' button. Wait patiently (!) until "loading now" and "stabilizing position" is completed. Next, point your phone towards the open space where the artwork is located. If you don't see the artwork right away, take a moment to look around calmly. The AR artwork will come to life, blending the real world with digital art.

The artistic concept

We may be living through times of unprecedented change, but in uncertainty lies the power to influence the future.

That’s why we decided to build underground flowers, constructed from the broken fragments of our existence.

Symbols of hope.
It is important to say what hope is not: it is not the belief
that everything was, is or will be fine.
The hope we are inter
ested in locates itself in the premises that
we don’t know what will happen and that in the
spaciousness of uncertainty is room to act.

When you recognize uncertainty, you recognize that you may be able to influence the outcomes.

And that’s why we built flowers. In hidden spaces, dark basements and damaged buildings,

but ready to face the daylight.
